DAY 8 – from Pavacachi to Baños

• 6:00 am wake-up time at Eco-Planet Campground.
• Blow gun and spears throwing competitions on last morning at the camp. Fun sport activities with the hosting families.
• 30 minutes Canoe ride on the Curaray River back to Pavacachi runway.
• Departing around noon a small plane from Pavacachi back to civilization
• Meeting at Shell again with our mainland trip leader who will retake over the leadership from this point throughout the rest of the trip.
• Boarding the Baños Party-bus that awaits our arrival and go for an hour and half journey up the Eastern Andes Mountains with an over view of Rio Pastaza canyons and towards Baños – A small town that is surrounding by mountainsides that are brilliant green against the white summit of the Volcano Tungurahua –an Active Volcano. Repeated volcano eruptions occurred between 1999 and 2008. Volcano still very active.
• On the way to Baños we stop for a Cable car ride over Rio Pastaza amazing deep canyon.
• Arriving Baños and Check in to Baños Grand Rio hostel.
• Briefing at the lobby about Baños and the next day continues X-treme Challenge activities.
• Relaxing and free evening in this colorful and unique waterfalls Baños town.
